Pool Information
Hours
The pool is open daily from Noon to 8:30 PM, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Pool Closures
The pool will close if:
The temperature is under 65°F
Thunderstorms or heavy rain last more than 30 minutes
Lightning or thunder is detected (pool will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last strike or sound)
Membership
Only legal residents of VOCAA in good standing are allowed entry.
A limited number of guest passes are sold each summer on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the office if you’re interested.
Admittance
All members must check in with the front desk attendance before entering the pool.
Children ages 8–11 may test for a card.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Proof of residence is required.
Members age 12+ may receive a pool card.
Groups with 6 or more guests may be denied entry if the pool is near capacity. Lifeguards have the authority to limit entry.
Guests
Guests must be accompanied and signed in by a member.
Fees: $3 or one guest pass per person; $10 per family.
Children under 12 may not bring guests.
Members ages 12–17 may bring one guest only.
The member must remain on the pool deck or in the water with the guest at all times.
Grandparents may bring their grandchildren for free but must stay with them at all times.
An associate pass is available for a babysitter or nanny who is not a VOCAA member; it costs $50 per season and the associate must always be accompanied by the member.
Attire
Proper swimwear is required.
Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.
Weak Swimmer
Children using flotation devices or who are weak swimmers must have a parent in the water with them at all times.
Wade Pool
No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
Diving Board Rules
One person on the board at a time.
No cartwheels, handstands, or hanging from the board.
Only one bounce allowed.
Must jump or dive straight off the board.
Lifeguards may restrict certain dives for safety reasons.
Enforcement
All members and guests must follow pool rules.
Adults may be asked to correct behavior or leave.
Minors will sit out for 20 minutes. If noncompliance continues, they will be asked to leave. Repeat violations may result in a season ban.
Lifeguards are VOCAA employees and are responsible for enforcing all rules.
If you disagree with a rule, do not argue. Instead, provide your name and phone number; a Pool Committee representative will contact you.

Foul language
Running, wrestling, horseplay, punching, dunking
Diving from others’ shoulders
Any other unsafe activity as determined by the lifeguards
